More than just an assemblage of different art forms, l’Arsenal à Musique is a vehicle for production and orchestration where musical creation is always at the crossroads. From the classical to the experimental, this is the merging of possibilities where artistic productions are revitalized through the coming together of disciplines and talents.
The Carnival of the Animals and Planet Baobab take over Toronto and the surrounding area!
Up to the present, and thanks to the generous support of long term partners, The Carnival of the Animals was able to travel through Ontario many times.
Once more, Octave and Mandoline will introduce the work of the famous French composer Camille Saint-Saens to the young public from Richmond Hill, Oakville, Unionville, Marham, Vaughan and Oshawa.
These two emblematic characters of Saint-Saens composition, of which children are so fond of, will play with the pianists Yannick Provencher and Étienne Génier.
Further east from Lake Ontario, The Hamilton Philarmonic Orchestra and the artistic crew of L’Arsenal will bring to life one of L’Arsenal greatest classics, the story of The Little Prince.
This beautiful and poetic tale will be played on Denis Gougeon and Yves Daoust’s music.
On this very special occasion, the artistic directors of L’Arsenal, Lorena Corradi and Reggi Ettore, will be playing on stage. As both narrators and electroacousticians, they will take the public on a magic journey, such as they’ve skilfully known to do for the last thirthy years.
